Welcome to my cozy cabin.
I’m Sherry Hall–multi-passionate artist, author,
wife to an amazing husband,
barn queen, cancer survivor,
and most of all, a child of God.

I struggled for a long time to figure out my why. Why do I write? Why do I create quirky art? Those questions kept nagging me. I guess, like a lot of folks, I want to leave something behind. Something that made a difference, something lasting. 

Then I'd respond to myself with, "How could a cozy mystery possibly make a difference in the world? And what about cartoon llamas? Neither saves souls or solves world hunger." Right. My important legacy I leave is sharing my love for Christ. But what about the stories? The art? What's the why? 

It finally makes sense to me. I want to tell stories where the good guys, or gals, still win. Where people still help each other. Where romance is clean and so is the dialog. Those are the stories I want, need, to tell. Call me Pollyanna, but I know God never intended for evil to become such a popular read. I want to make people smile with my art and my stories--to warm hearts and lift spirits. It's not world changing, but it's a special gift God has given me to do.
